Learn About Self Defense

Check out this video to learn five helpful self-defense moves. Safely practice the new self-defense tips you learned. Be careful not to harm your partner. Discuss why these self-defense techniques are important to learn.

 

Step Two

Teach Safety Tips

Teach young Girl Scouts about fire & kitchen safety, water safety, or safety on the trail. Create a video, poster, or think of your own creative way to teach younger kids what to do. Check out the safety tips activity below to get started!


Step Three

Driving Safety

Discover what distracted driving looks like. Make a list of what you think distracted driving is - ask you friends and family! Check out this video from End Distracted Driving to learn more. Commit to driving safely and take the safe driving agreement!

Agree to Disagree

Help resolve a disagreement between people in your household, your Girl Scout troop, or your friend group. Check out these five ways to respectfully disagree!

 

Step Five

Dangers of Drugs

Discuss the dangers of alcohol & drug use with your parent/guardian, friends, or Girl Scout troop. Check out the video on the right. to learn the truth behind some common myths.

Create a statement that will act as your personal responsibility stance regarding drugs and alcohol.
